BSI Rwanda is a nonprofit on a mission to eliminate Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) — particularly bilharzia — across Rwanda. Their tagline says it best: Stories that heal. Through storytelling, education, and youth empowerment, BSI Rwanda fights the disease in high-risk communities surrounding lakes, wetlands, and marshlands across the country.
As the fullstack developer, I built the entire website from scratch in 2025 — designing the UI and developing both the frontend and backend. The site covers their problem statement, work, impact, team, stories, and articles, and is backed by a CMS so the team can independently publish content and keep their community informed.
